Our crew will take you through your rental agreement and take a swipe of your credit card. You’ll need understand your liability options and what is included in your daily vehicle rate. Important Note: Be aware that without the addition of the Inclusive Pack or Liability Reduction Option, you are liable for damage to your motorhome or any third party property on your hire. Any costs incurred will be calculated and recovered at end of the hire, regardless of any independent cover you may have.
Be sure you chat to your Local Host about road user charges. Road user charges (RUC) means that anyone using New Zealand's roads contributes towards their upkeep. Most road users pay levies when they buy fuel. Others, such as drivers motorhomes and trucks pay through road user charges. You can buy the Express Return Pack which will include these costs in your drop off.
Remember to let your bank know you are travelling, as this can help you to avoid credit card issues. Credit card surcharges will apply = 2.4% for Visa or MasterCard and 4.6% for American Express. Our transactions are conducted in New Zealand dollars. Please ask your Local Host for more information on pick-up.
You will then get to meet your vehicle with a show-through by one of our Local Hosts; they will tell you all the ins and outs of making the most of your motorhome. There is a lot to take in and we want you to feel comfortable, confident and safe in your vehicle, so take some time to familiarise yourself and ask any questions of our crew before you depart.
