Day 2
Tauranga to Rotorua

If you’re keen to see more geothermal wonders, take a detour to Orakei Korako, a quieter spot with stunning silica terraces and hidden caves.
As you reach Taupō, the vast blue waters of Lake Taupō stretch out before you. One must-see stop is the Huka Falls, where you can watch an incredible volume of water rushing through the narrow gorge. Taupo to Napier

As you near Napier, consider visiting the Arataki Honey Visitor Centre, where you can learn about New Zealand’s beekeeping history and sample delicious honey.
