Here are a few handy tips to help you make the most of your time at the beach in Perth

  • Pack a picnic: One of the best things about travelling in a maui motorhome in Perth is having your own onboard kitchen. Make some sandwiches, chop up some fresh fruit, and chill your drinks in the fridge before you head out for the day. At the end of your day at the beach, go out and explore Perth city and grab a bite to eat. Check out our guide to the best places to eat in Perth.

  • Sun safety: Always remember to pack sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Australia's sun can be intense, so it's better to be safe than sorry. And if you need some instant shade, just head back to your motorhome for a cool retreat.

  • Beach gear: Use  the storage space in your motorhome to bring along beach chairs, an umbrella, and even a small barbecue. There’s room for the kids’ beach toys too.

  • Freshen up: The bathrooms in maui motorhomes come equipped with showers. So, after a day at the beach (or just when you need it!), you can enjoy a cool, refreshing shower before you relax with that glass of wine.

  • Park up off the sand: While it might be tempting to drive your motorhome right up to the water's edge, please note that maui motorhomes are not permitted to drive on any beaches.
